📖 JEI and recipes

On Java, open your inventory and type in the JEI search box. Hover over an item and press R for its recipe or U for its uses; you can change these keys under Controls. To filter a mod, type @create, @unbound_ambarita or @unbound_companions, for example.

In Creative mode you can also search for “amberite” or “astralite” by name. Bedrock does not have the full JEI interface; use /guia or ask here about the specific item. Recipes shown by the server are the valid ones.

Turn an item into a materials list

Open its recipe and check the output, quantity and crafting station or process. Similar-looking items from different mods may not be interchangeable.

For a Create project, filter with @create, find the required part and inspect its recipe. Open the recipe of each missing component until you reach materials you know how to obtain. Write down quantities before collecting resources.

Recipes and uses answer different questions

• Recipe: how do I obtain this item?
• Uses: what can I do with the item I already have?
• Mod filter: narrow results when items share a name or appearance.

When crafting does not work

Check the exact item, quantity and workstation. A recipe from a video recorded in another version may differ from UNBOUND's configuration.

If R or U do not respond, check Controls for key conflicts. If the item appears but crafting still fails, capture the ingredients and tell Support the exact item name, your edition and what you tried.

On Bedrock

The missing JEI panel does not prove an item is unavailable. Ask for the specific recipe and mention your edition. Do not substitute similar-looking ingredients without checking that the server accepts them.
